Talent path
Talent path
In 2016, Sasky won the first prize in the competition for the Best Practices in VET organised by the Finnish National Agency for Education. The theme of the competition was Co-operation with the World of Work and the Impact of Training. Talent Path is part of this award-winning practice.
In practice, we build a learning environment in co-operation with the company, purchasing new machinery and equipment for shared use. Then we start the Talent Path: the student completes their studies mainly in the new learning environment.
The benefits of this co-operation model are clear:
- The students can engage in real production already during their studies, which is motivating
- Constant dialogue between the teachers and the company
- We and the company can modernise our machinery and update staff skills
- Commitment of the labour-market in the development of VET
